Land of Compassion Buddha NZ

Land of Compassion Buddha New Zealand is non profit Tibetan Buddhist centre in Auckland that was established in 2004. It is within the Gelugpa lineage and is directed by our spiritual director and teacher, Khensur Rinpoche Geshe Lobsang Tsephel. The centre offers a varied schedule of events throughout the year including classes, empowerments, pujas and practice sessions.
 
Khensur Rinpoche visits the centre on a yearly basis to give Dharma teachings, empowerments and lead retreats. Rinpoche is always relentlessly providing guidance to students on their daily practice, showing them how to effectively purify negativities and accumulate virtues and how not to waste precious human rebirth for meaningless activities, so that they could plan the seed for ultimate realization in future lives.

The centre organizes regular Dharma practices, prayer offerings, animal liberation and various religious activities. Events are usually held at the Centre in Epsom, Auckland and all are welcome to join us!
